Dear Friends,
We greet you in the name of the Lord Jesus. Thank you so much for partnering with us in the work of the Lord. We cherish each of you as dear friends and pray for you diligently. This month, there are two significant events in which we need your prayers. The first is a radio interview with KNEO Radio in Missouri on August 20th. The interviews are set up to talk about the book but we inevitably move into other areas of Kingdom life. Kent did another interview at a station in Detroit recently and it is an excellent time to share the unique perspective of KRM with a larger audience. We believe that The Will of God can become an important tool for personal discipleship and small group study. Please pray to that end. We are excited about initial response to the book. Released officially June 1, we are already close to 2,000 in total sales. Not bad for a new release with a new author.
The second important event is on August 28 and 29. Kent has been invited to lead a retreat for the pastors of significant United Methodist Churches in Ohio who are trying to expand their ministries. We are excited about the opportunity to speak life and stir vision in these pastors.
Over the years we have learned of the vital necessity of intercession and being covered in prayer. We are doomed to fail unless the battle is won in the heavenly places. We count on you to fight that battle with us. Please cover our family, pray for provision, and that this season in our lives may produce all that God desires. “Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” (James 1:4)
