Easter services at the church here in Kuala Lumpur were some of the most wonderful I have ever experienced. The music was heavenly and the people responded with great joy. The church was alive in the Spirit of God. It seems so different than the church I found upon coming here one week ago. The people want to move forward with God in the life and ministry of Christ. They have it within them to be a very significant church strategically placed in the center of this city.

At the close of the last service I got up and told them that at that moment, Easter was beginning to dawn on the East coast of the U.S. I asked them to pray for America and for the Spirit of God to sweep across our borders. They willingly responded and the whole church went into prayer for our country. How wonderful! They are much attuned to the U.S. and most of them know more about the upcoming election than our own citizens.

And so it is that I draw this part of my work to a close. Today I move on to the Philippines and begin my work there. The Pastor’s Conference begins on March 25 and runs through the 27th in Manila. I go south to General Santos city on March 28th to speak at a college graduation and then back to Manila on Sunday where I will preach in the worship services.

My time in Malaysia has been marvelous beyond expectation. It is an honor being among these people and being a part of their culture. I told them the other day that my favorite part of it all was getting to know the people. My second favorite thing has been the food! I have not had one ounce of Western food since I got here. I have gotten quite adept at using chopsticks! We are already in discussion about returning here to continue the work.

I give thanks to all of you who help make this important ministry possible. I assure you, our labor is not in vain. Jesus Christ is Lord of heaven and earth. His is the honor, praise, dominion, and glory.
