Sandy and I are in Orlando, attending the International Christian Retailers Show where I did a new release book signing for “The Will of God.” Most of the books I signed were for book store owners from around the world. It was a treat to visit with the hundreds of people who came by the booth to get a book and get to know me.
The ICRS is a huge event with all of the major publishers, audio/visual artists, and others in Christian retail maintaining a presence. In some ways, it is a difficult place to be; it is a commercial feeding frenzy of religious retail. Nonetheless, we have met many nice people and made important contacts for our ministry.
Our very good friends Robert and Kathy Whitlow are here as well and it has been a joy spending time with them. Robert’s latest book, “Deeper Water” was released this Spring and his first book, “The List” is now a motion picture being distributed by 20th Century Fox.
We are beginning to hear some very encouraging responses to “The Will of God.” It seems to be a significant work for many people to encourage them in their walk with God. Some are giving it to people who are wondering about their purpose in life. Others are using it as a basis for group study. When I wrote it, I hoped that it would be something which God would use in an important way. He seems to be doing that.
